DISTORTION

 Second week in pictures:

 Distortion, outside our window.
 Casual dancing on beer trucks.

First experience with Danish sweets.
During our second week of classes, we were lucky enough to experience Distortion.  Starting Wednesday afternoon, club/dubstep music began blasting from the street below our apartment; and thanks to the open liquor laws of Europe, the party only got louder.  Distortion is an outdoor street party dedicated to the club/partying scene of Copenhagen.  Every night from Wednesday to Sunday the festival travels to a different borough of the city.  We were lucky enough to have Wednesday night outside our door, which made Thursday morning a little rough.
Other than Distortion, the week was filled with classes...and rain.  The real Danish weather has just begun.  After running out and buying a couple more long sleeves and pairs of pants, I still feel unprepared for the cold.  All of the Danes seem to be celebrating the "warm" weather.
